Steve On Bass Fishing

via email: I am attaching some photos from two trips to a farm pond, one in May and the second trip two weeks ago. The first trip a friend and I caught a few good fish, the largest being a 4 1/2 pound bass shown in one of the photos. Not a large quantity of fish that day, but a few quality bass.

The next trip two weeks ago was a great day with a lots of large bass and crappie. I ran out of film in the middle and only got pictures of about 1/3 to1/2 of the good fish we caught and no pictures of the two 14 1/2 in crappie. Sorry maybe next time. By the end of the morning of fishing  we caught in the neighborhood of 25 to 30 fish, 8 of which were bass between 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 pounds. At times my friend Roger and myself caught back to back to back 5 ponders from the same spot. This was truly a great morning of fishing and all of these fish were released back to the pond.

In a week or so I will send you some more fish pics we took this last weekend. My brother was in town from NY and wanted to get in on some of this big bass action.  We caught a few of the big bass, but also got in on some catfish action, with about 8 cats, between 7 - 10 pounds. Should have some very good pictures from his digital camera. He is also a good photographer and is aware of how to setup the subject to get the kind of photos you want for the web page.

I will have to attach the photos to several e-mails.

Via email from Steve: I forgot to send you picture of some more of the fish this last summer. I had some more bass pictures, but many of them look the same. It almost looks like we took a picture of the same bass over and over again, but in fact each picture was of different fish. I am attaching some pictures of several trips up to a pond, one when my brother was in town and a week or so later when I took a friend along. We got into some good bass fishing along with having a good day catching catfish. I kept some of the catfish, but some of them tasted like mud. I did notice that you did not have many catfish pictures on the web, so here you go.
