While it may seem unnecessary to state this following text it has been our experience that every tidbit we can offer to those planning their first hunting or scouting trip does lend to a more enjoyable experience. To that end we offer that for every county a member plans to hunt we suggest printing the entire lodging listing per county, typically one paper page, and stapling it to the county lease maps. Having both together makes it more likely the hunter services listing for that county will be in the truck when (if) it may be required. Good luck to all! |

Mid-America Hunting Association produces a Yellow Pages type reference of selected hunter services within each county we lease land. Listed are the local motels, B&Bs, country homes for rent, meat lockers, wrecker services and veterinarian services. This allows the do it yourself hunter to make his own lodging reservations long before he leaves home and once hunting in that county have a listing of services he may require.
