Interest | Cover gaps exist and none are to believe that every walk on every farm is a single long stream of uninterrupted quail holding huntable cover. From the unseen weedy/brush lined fencerow to the hunter's back to the brush/woody drainage to his front is every bit of a 1/4 mile walk of open, no hope for a point farm land.
This is a 320 acres, 1 mile by 1/2 mile, half section. It has roads on three sides of it. Stopping to hunt one end, returning to the truck and driving around to the other end step out and hunt is appropriate as the primary cover is a main drainage that runs the length of the long axis of this farm. That main drain has many long and short branches. While possible to make it a single long one mile plus walk out and a mile plus walk back, it is easier to take a break, have a drink and then hunt the farm as a two part effort.
