Fishing

Who is more proud?

crappie fishing

This is a 2 pound, 6 ounce crappie. Measured at the local bait shop.

How TJ spent his spring break.

Another hunter and fisherman being brought up by dad.

TJ is both an accomplished bass and crappie fisherman.

And, a turkey!

Not sure which is bigger the tom or TJ?

The next spring break TJ Bass with another lunker from his favorite spot. 16" inch 2 1/2 lb. crappie.

The pond that this crappie was caught from came under Association Management three years ago and 66 crappie were relocated to its waters at that time. This season it produced this very good sized crappie along with many others of different sizes indicating a thriving fish population.

T.J the next spring season. It doesn't get any better than this. A 10 year old with his first turkey on his own!

T.J. Bass the next season showing a sample of one early spring afternoon fishing trip with dad. The kind of day that will be hard to come by once college and career takes hold.

This fishing time was after a morning pre season turkey scouting trip. While dad scouted the young T.J. napped and was ready to go after a local lunch at a Mom & Pop country cafe to spend some time casting artificial's and live bait. A lot of fun, some talking about life's important issues and time never to be replaced.

Returning for a later trip provided colder weather and bass.

When finding something good it is better to do it more.

Good luck for all that comes your way.
