Interest | Yearly ReturnOnce a bow hunter has several hunts in any one particular grouping of leases he may return to that area season after season for as long as he likes as well as develop new ground each trip. By adding to the knowledge of various land we lease he will increase his options and soon find himself arguing with himself as to where to hunt. This argument will begin in earnest again at the close of each hunt and gain intensity as decision time comes as to where to hunt again.
After the first archery deer season the bow hunter will come to realize that he is not in competition with other hunters and while he may reserve land to hunt as much as 30 days in advance of his hunt he will soon take a more leisurely approach to reservations and decide where to hunt within a week of the day in the woods. Once he has one or more farms reserved he may adjust his reservation schedule to either remain in place on one or a couple of farms or expand out to new opportunities.
MAHA HuntsThe bottom line is that we bow hunt ourselves and understand what it takes to have a good deer hunting experience. We also recognize a good hunt can occur even without a tag filled and seek the same in the deer hunters we allocate memberships to. We will provide that good deer hunting opportunity while at the same time ensure that all hunters have absolute parity to all land under lease and available to all Association hunters. It probably goes without saying that the archery deer hunting option we provide is what we believe to be the best opportunity there is -- that is for the hunter that wants to hunt on his own.
