| ChoicesMid-America Hunting Association's Kansas, Missouri and Iowa archery whitetail deer hunts brings many advantages to the bow deer hunter that seeks a do it yourself hunt. The first are three states of seasons to select from. Within each state every deer hunter does his own scouting, hang stands and have enough private lease land and stands or at least trees cut to provide more hunt options for every trip a field. Within this Association's approach to pay to hunt or managed hunts, the bow hunter has the flexibility to react to weather, changing rut and once he has eyes on a trophy whitetail the ability to maneuver in on the deer of his of choice. Another archery season advantage are the lonely days in the stand over our leases and the ability to hunt the peak of the rut before firearms season. While at first appearance being left alone with the woods and the whitetail seems to be a great advantage every hunter soon learns that he is after a natural deer un-pressured by a lot of hunters in the area. And, every hunter reserves an individual numbered property and hunts that property alone. Deer hunting flexibility though having deer hunter choices. The point is that when on a archery hunt with us the deer hunter is no longer in search of just one place to hunt he has the reverse problem. Within our system he is actually subtracting by tens of thousand's of acres where he is not going to hunt. We will assist with that selection of where to hunt and where not to bow hunt and any recommendations made are in terms of archery limitations rather than just deer hunting. The confidence the hunter has that we will ensure the best possible self guided deer hunt possible is that we are a business and not a hunting club. As a business with a return hunter orientation we know that it is a good hunt that will bring the hunter back for years of seasons to come. Have a read of our distinction from hunting clubs.
HabitatWe have many areas that have what most will consider bow huntable ground and habitat that will meet the needs to constrict whitetail movement to the all too difficult 30 yard range. This is different than some areas where the rifle is about the only means by which a successful hunt is possible. These firearms regions are where individual trees are landmarks and ranges out farther than most can accurately shoot a rifle may be observed. The objective from our stand point is to give every self guided deer hunter as good an archery deer hunting experience as possible to ensure he will want to renew his membership. That means being placed on productive whitetail deer habitat and habitat within the right region of the state that has a history of trophy deer. |
