This was an early season duck hunt in mild weather before the mallards arrive. We have plentiful shallow water habitat for a variety of early season duck hunting.
The dog makes the hunt for most of our self guided hunters who for the most part train their own dogs.
The service we provide the do it yourself hunter is supplying the one resource that is the absolute hardest to come by and that is hunting land.
We then serve as a knowledge base for that hunter through our year round, boots on the ground experience with that land. We ensure he is linked up matching between his hunting interests and the right habitat in the right location for a good hunt.
Our land access method is to recommend to the first year MAHA member where we suggest he hunt. He also has all other land available to him as each members receives the same and total land inventory on map sheets available online.
Later lease land updates are made available to all at the same time through an online members only web site. Each has the same telephone reservation system as all other members. From this point the hunter then simply drives from his home to his hunting land and hunts.
All hunts are free of competition due to each makes a reservation to hunt. that reservation is the means by which we separate hunters.
The product is the habitat we lease. With the right habitat in the right state level region we have a history of production that satisfies the self guided hunter even when tags or bags are not filled. That is the hunter we seek is the individual outdoor enthusiast that seeks to be left alone to hunt as best fits his style and enjoys that quality of hunt regardless of outcome.
The hunter can trust we we can provide both this hunting land service and habitat product because we, Jon Nee the owner operator and John Wenzel partner, work full time for the MAHA hunter and are out on the land 12 months of the year. That boots on the ground time makes providing recommendations of where to hunt the easiest part of the job.
We also concentrate within specific localities within the three state region where we lease land. We do not attempt to provide any hunting that we do not have first hand and yearly repeated experience with. This intensifies the quality of the recommendations we provide our hunters.
We operate solely as a business and not as a social club. Every hunter is someone that we seek years of return business.
In short we provide a service and the hunter may select they type of hunting he desires.
