Hunting Dogs

Hunting dog rules highlighted. We do not provide any dogs for anyone's use.

Our rules section contains a complete listing of permissions and limitations concerning dogs on Association lands. Essentially, all dogs must be personally and fully owned by the hunter using them. Our lands are for hunting, not dog training. No field trials, pre-season dog training or commercial dog training of any type is permitted. And, each hunter and hunting party is limited to the number of dogs that maybe on the ground at one time. That limit is two dogs per member and not more than three per group of members. More dogs can be in the truck and rotated. Duck blind reservations require identification of a dog for the hunt.

Mid-America HUnting Association has been around for a long time. Newer pictures appear within the web site's main hunting interest pages. Older pictures are spread amongst these administrative pages.

The controlling idea about dogs is to fully enjoy their enhancement of the hunt while not overpowering the wildlife.
